My Bridge Club has been working on a bridge for years and we're looking to sell it.

They finally replaced the last bridge here. Washed away from the flood in '06. I prefer pinochle and hearts.

The Bridge Club has to sell the bridge because of financial problems. Our Annual Good Friday Ox Roast is not bringing in the money that it used to.

We had to cut a few things when we built the span. We only had enough money for one lane. When we had our simultaneous ribbon cutting in Oakland and Honolulu things looked great. Then they met in the middle. We are still waiting for one side or the other to back all the way up to let the other side through.

Go figure.

Bang, if you tell them to use the passenger side mirror with "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" it'll seem like it's taking longer to arrive in reverse. Use the driver side mirror with "objects in actual size" viewing and the trip will go faster.

Reminds me of the mirror on the bedroom ceiling - "Objects in the mirror are larger than they appear".

If the OP of this thread wants to make real money, he would open a Pay-To-Potty concession on the bridge. Things are piling up in more ways than one.

See you Tuesday

I applaud your action. I could not help but take the thread off on a tangent with the get-rich-quick idea.

Jason,

That's why you get an "Attaboy". Shot (he looks more "shot" than "fun") and fan have the same deviated sense of humor and we play off each other.

Me, I'm afflicted by random firing neurons that strike at the most inopportune times. I can get in trouble before God even get the word that I'm out in public again. Just ask the wrong  person the wrong question at the exactly wrong time and you'll have an idea of what I mean.

Thank you for your work keeping this website going.
