I'm looking to buy a barrel with screw in chokes for my rem1100, or a skeet barrel. Vent rib would be nice also, but I'm not set on it.
Any body lookin to get rid of one?

I guess I would part with it for $500.
It has been a great gun. My daughters used to shot with it but then they found boys.

Yes it is a 12g. I don't know if you can tell from the photos but it has some really great wood. We used to get compliments on it all the time.

That's a great youth gun. 20g would be better, but the 12 is fine. I picked up a fixed choke 20g 1100 for our son to use when he was 10. I had to shorten the stock and add a recoil pad, but the gun held him in goo stead for about 3 years until he was big enough to handle a 12. The best part was I only shelled out $150 for the gun!! Over the years I was fortunate enough to pick up 2 1100's and 2 11-87's for a grand total of $850!! All were lightly used at the time. Now we use them as loaners, and I use the 20 for grouse hunting. Maybe I will find a nice super lightweight 28 for birds. I'm looking for a good deal. I am getting older and the knees are not getting better anytime soon.

11-87 i a great gun too. You should send a message to Tehe. He is always wheeling and dealing and always has his eyes open for good deals. He is a great guy and a good friend of mine.

A excellent condition Franchi AL-48 in 20 or 28 for grouse, timberdoodle and chukar would be nice. Maybe Santa is listening?

Mike,
So far this year I flushed 2 timberdoodles from the park across the street from my house. Do you think my neighbors would mind if I used my Browning .410 to try and bag them?
Did I forget to mention I live in South Philly!

B-Fan, we hunted Tioga State Forest this week up in the clear cuts for grouse and doodles. Flushed 12 birds over the two days. LOTS of busting the saplings, felt like we walked about 10 hours/day!! I had 2 tough birds and missed both, but at least I got to make the gun go bang. Ross killed 2 birds today. It was an excellent trip. Next trip will be out my back porch and across from the 5-stand to get my grouse!!
