Anybody get into any real good dove action? I hunt a private farm in Delaware and the first and second day. The shooting was hot and heavy, there was a very strong breeze which pushed the birds to what looked like the speed of sound. It was an awesome 2 days of shooting and I managed to put two limits in the freezer.

One of the guys that works for me hunts the mid west for doves every year. He just came back from his trip I will have to see how it went. He hunts a friends farm that is planted entirely in sunflower. He has told me in the past that it is all the shooting in one day that you would ever hope to have.

Saw thousands upon thousands of dove the week or two before season opened here in Oklahoma, since then maybe 5 or 6 at a time.
It's been real wet all this past week and I've seen more on the fences and high line wires beside the road the last few days.
Sitting on ponds hasn't been very fruitfull for me so far this year.
