I've been on the road alot lately, in parts of New Jersey and PA, I couldn't help but notice the amount of dove I've seen in the various areas. I'm glad to say I've seen a good amount of birds all over the place. I know Jersey doesn't have a season for dove, all I can hope is that some of those birds either head South to Delaware or over to PA. Is it to early to get psyched for the season?

I've been up in Lehigh County, PA a couple of times in the last few weeks and I've been seeing a whole lot of doves zipping through or sitting on the wires. If you have anytime to get out scouting and stopping to ask permission, it's a good place to start your search. I'm going to have to listen to my own advise and make some time to go and do that.

Well the time is near, with the gear, ammo and gun ready to be packed in the rig, the only thing left to do is a double check on what I'm bringing (remember my license) and pray that the hurricane that's headed up the East Cost stays far away from sure not to rain us out or cause the birds to move out of there area. If you're going out for dove or goose, good luck, stay safe but most of all have fun. I can't think of a better way to create memories with family and friends. Shoot'em, clean'em and grill'em!
